The terms of the line: what it is called, who it is with, the credit limit, the rate, the minimum payment as a percentage of the balance, and the month the draw period ends. Underneath, the figures those terms produce once the log is filled in - the current balance, the credit still available, the share of the limit in use, the minimum due and an estimated monthly interest figure. The draw period end is the field that is easiest to leave out and the one that changes most about how a balance reads. A line that converts to repayment on a date years away is easy to treat as permanent, and this sheet keeps that date written beside the balance instead of in the paperwork. The rate drives that estimate only - the interest that reaches the dashboard is entered per transaction from what the lender actually charged, because a line charges on the balance carried day by day and an estimate cannot reconstruct that exactly.

A row per movement, each with a date, a type, the amount, a description, any interest charged and the balance that follows. The type is what the summary figures group by, so a draw and a payment of the same size land on opposite sides of the balance. A total line under the log repeats the balance the log arrives at and adds up the interest charged along the way. The running balance column is where the shape of a line shows over months rather than weeks. A line used for working capital rises and falls; one used to cover a gap only rises, and the column carries that difference row by row.

Six figures and two charts. The top row carries the credit still available, the balance currently owed and utilisation - what share of the limit is in use. The row beneath carries the interest logged, the minimum payment due this period and how many entries have been recorded. Utilisation is reported as a fact about the account rather than as a score. What share is sensible depends on the agreement and the circumstances, and the sheet takes no position on it. The charts set draws against payments and plot the balance across the period, which is where the shape of how the line is being used shows up.
